An automation-first, multi-room air quality system built for UK and EU homes. Native Home Assistant support, local-first architecture, and room-by-room insights — designed around how UK homes actually work.
A sensor in the hallway misses PM2.5 from cooking, CO₂ buildup in the bedroom, and VOCs from the bathroom. Every room is different.
"AQI: 87" — so what? Without context, history, and plain-English advice, raw numbers are useless. You need to know what to do next.
£25 Amazon sensors are dumb single-room gadgets. £200+ Airthings units are built for offices. There's nothing smart, affordable, and UK-focused.
A hallway sensor misses everything. Here's what's actually happening in a typical UK home — all at the same time.
Builds up while you sleep — disrupting rest quality without you ever knowing.
Cleaning products and poor ventilation cause chemical spikes after every shower.
Fine particles from cooking reach dangerous levels within minutes — and drift into every other room.
Most air quality products and advice come from the US, where homes have central HVAC. UK and EU homes work completely differently — and that changes everything.
In a typical UK home, your sealed bedroom can hit 2,000 ppm CO₂ while your living room reads 600 ppm — at the same time, in the same house. A single hallway sensor gives you neither reading.
Your kitchen air quality drops 40% during evening cooking. A cooker hood could improve your home score by 15 points.
HomeEaze Air combines compact sensors in every room with intelligent software that spots patterns, sends smart alerts, and tells you exactly what to do — in plain English.
No engineers, no drilling, no subscriptions. Just plug in, connect, and breathe easy.
Put a compact 5-in-1 sensor in each room you want to monitor. No installation required — just place and power on.
Wi-Fi for early prototypes. Thread/Matter planned for production units — lower power, better mesh, and no cloud dependency required.
The app shows a live view of every room at once — scores, trends, and comparisons across your entire home.
Smart push notifications when something needs attention, plus a weekly home score report every Sunday.
See all your rooms at once. Understand how air quality moves through your home throughout the day.
Most wanted"Your bedroom CO₂ spikes every night at 11pm. Here's why — and how to fix it before it affects your sleep."
Your home's air quality story, delivered every Sunday. Trends, insights, and your personalised home score.
No jargon. Clear, specific steps: "Open the kitchen window for 10 minutes after cooking."
PM2.5, CO₂, VOC, Temperature, and Humidity in one compact device per room. No cluster of gadgets.
iOS and Android. Check any room, anywhere. Push notifications for air quality events that actually matter.
Designed from the ground up for technical users. No lock-in. No walled garden. Your data, your infrastructure.
Full HA support with auto-discovery. Build your own automations, dashboards, and alerts using your own rules — no middleware required.
Standard MQTT topics with auto-discovery. Works with your existing broker — Mosquitto, EMQX, or whatever you're running.
All core functionality runs locally on your LAN. The cloud layer is optional — use it for remote access and reports, or skip it entirely.
Wi-Fi for early prototypes. Thread/Matter planned for production — lower power, better mesh reliability, native Matter controller support.
We think you deserve to know exactly what's inside. Here's the sensor platform we're designing around, and the accuracy targets we're holding ourselves to.
| Pollutant | Sensor class | Accuracy target | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| CO₂ | NDIR (e.g. Sensirion SCD40-class) | ±50 ppm + 3% of reading | 400–5,000 ppm |
| PM2.5 | Laser particle counter | ±10 μg/m³ < 100 μg/m³ | 0–500 μg/m³ |
| VOC | MOX with on-chip compensation | Index 0–500 (relative) | 0–1,000 ppb equiv. |
| Temperature | Integrated MEMS | ±0.3°C | -10–60°C |
| Humidity | Capacitive polymer | ±2% RH | 0–95% RH |
Sensor class and specs represent design targets for prototype units. Final production hardware will be confirmed and published before any pilot ships.
Sensors are factory-calibrated before shipping. Ongoing drift compensation is handled via firmware — no user action, no subscription required.
Readings are taken every 30 seconds. Stored locally at full resolution. The app shows rolling averages to reduce noise without hiding real events.
You can export your raw timestamped readings at any time via the API or CSV export. We don't round, smooth, or hide inconvenient data from you.
Apply for the pilot — 20–50 homes selected for our first hardware cohort.
Add as many rooms as you need. Mix tiers. No subscriptions yet — just hardware + app.
Perfect for getting started with one or two key rooms.
Full multi-room intelligence for your whole home.
The complete package for health-conscious households.

AirGradient is excellent DIY hardware — we respect it. If you want to build your own system, go for it. We're building a complete, ready-to-run product for people who'd rather not.
We're not trying to be the cheapest sensor or the most enterprise product. We're filling a specific gap that nobody else is addressing.
Not an afterthought or a bundle of single sensors. The entire system — hardware, app, alerts — is built around understanding your whole home as a connected network.
Home Assistant, MQTT, local API, and Thread/Matter planned from day one. Built for people who want real control — not another cloud-locked device on their network.
Designed for homes without central HVAC. We understand airtight new builds, room-by-room ventilation, and the specific pollutant patterns that UK and EU homes produce.
The price per room stays the same whether you're monitoring two rooms or eight. No tiered "whole home" upgrade fees — just hardware, scaled to your home.
We'd rather be upfront about this than oversell. HomeEaze Air isn't the right fit for everyone — and that's fine.
If your home has ducted central air that continuously circulates through every room, a single sensor in a central location will give you a fair picture. Multi-room monitoring adds less value here.
If you want open-source hardware you can flash yourself and build your own dashboards from scratch, AirGradient is excellent. We're building a more complete product experience — it's a different trade-off.
If you just want to monitor one specific room and don't care about the rest of your home, a cheaper single-room sensor will do the job perfectly well.
If you want a simple display showing today's reading with no history or context, HomeEaze Air is more than you need. We're built for understanding patterns over time.
If any of these sound like you, HomeEaze Air was built with you in mind.
Children's developing lungs are especially vulnerable. Know exactly what they're breathing in their bedroom and play areas.
Track the triggers that set off your symptoms — PM2.5, VOCs, humidity — and take action before they affect you.
High CO₂ in your home office kills focus and productivity. Keep your workspace sharp with continuous monitoring.
UK new builds are tightly sealed — great for energy bills, terrible for air quality. Verify your ventilation is actually working.
High humidity is the first warning sign of mould risk. Catch it early with room-by-room tracking before it becomes a problem.
This isn't a new problem — but awareness has never been higher, and the solutions have never been this accessible.
Post-2016 building regulations demand airtight homes for energy efficiency — but ventilation standards haven't kept pace. Thousands of new UK homes trap pollutants inside with no way out.
Research shows CO₂ above 1,000 ppm significantly impairs sleep quality. In a sealed bedroom with two people, levels routinely exceed 2,000 ppm by morning — without anyone realising.
A 20-minute cooking session can push kitchen PM2.5 to 10× the WHO safe limit. These fine particles travel through your home and persist for hours — long after the smell is gone.
COVID-19 fundamentally changed how people think about indoor air. Ventilation is now a mainstream concern — and people are actively looking for tools to take control of what they breathe.
Hardware is hard. Anyone can launch a crowdfunding campaign with a render and a promise. We're doing this differently.
We're talking to real UK homeowners first — understanding the specific rooms, habits, and problems that matter — before we commit to final hardware. The prototypes we test with our pilot group will directly shape what ships.
A small group of early testers will receive prototype hardware and work with us directly to validate the experience before we go to production.
We're not asking you to fund production. This pilot is about testing in real homes with real people before we commit to manufacturing.
We're building an affordable multi-room air quality system for UK and EU homes without central HVAC. Before manufacturing at scale, we're running a structured pilot to test hardware, software, and multi-room behaviour in real homes.
We're selecting 20–50 homes for our first hardware pilot. Tell us about your home — your answers determine whether you're a good fit.
